The Story of Angiolina – A Legacy of Hospitality
Before we describe the farmhouse, we want to introduce you to Angiolina, the soul behind it all—her generous heart and simple, authentic philosophy of life are still alive here.
For nearly a century, her home was the heart of the village: a small tavern with an open wine cellar where locals, young and old, always found a warm smile, a glass of homemade wine, and traditional Leventese biscuits.
On the shady porch—cool in summer and sheltered from the winter winds—people stopped by to chat, vent, or simply say hello. Angiolina was always there. Maybe a bit gruff at times, but always with a twinkle in her eye and a light-hearted welcome.

A Restored Farmhouse, Rich in Atmosphere
Today, her home lives again as Angiolina’s Farm: a lovingly restored farmhouse with eleven unique rooms, all carefully renovated and fitted with modern comforts.
Original stone walls, chestnut-beamed ceilings, and the rustic elegance of Ligurian architecture preserve the magical feeling of the past.
The ancient tavern—now the reception and breakfast hall—features dramatic vaulted stone ceilings where guests gather each morning for a rich breakfast or a fine glass of local wine from Levanto and the Cinque Terre, accompanied by flavorful products from the Val di Vara and Lunigiana regions.

Relaxation & Nature on the Estate
Just up from the porch, you’ll reach the panoramic terrace with Jacuzzis and garden—an ideal place to unwind after a day at the beach or hiking the Cinque Terre or Portofino trails.

– A fitness path through the olive groves, perfect for reconnecting body and mind

The Farm
Living the Ligurian Land

Farming in Liguria is a challenge—but a rewarding one. Terraced hills once abandoned now thrive again, bursting with: Tomatoes, zucchini flowers, citrus blossoms, A vegetable garden of vibrant colors and scents, A flourishing vineyard and olive grove.

Walk through the olive trees and learn how we make our fragrant golden olive oil. We’ll show you:
– How we prune centuries-old olive trees
– How we harvest olives with orange nets
– How they’re cold-pressed in the local mill

You’ll also discover our apiary, where swarms of bees work tirelessly to produce our organic honey.

A Journey into the Authentic Ligurian Hinterland
If you wish to explore the hinterland of the Cinque Terre, come with us to our estate in the Val di Vara—a land known for its organic farming and unspoiled nature.

There, you’ll visit:
Our ornamental plant nursery, a thriving orchard, a vast olive grove and and our horses in the wild.

As you climb from the coast to the mountains, you’ll pass through:
– Pine and chestnut forests
– Mediterranean scrub (heather, broom, arbutus)
– Reaching the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri trail with breathtaking views

On clear days, with the north wind (Tramontana), you can even spot the island of Corsica and the Tuscan Archipelago on the horizon.
